I live in Powell, Ohio with my husband and four (yes, 4) sons. Trust me, I can relate to the weeknight dinner struggle!
I have many evenings that I’m too busy or tired to plan for and cook dinner. Meanwhile...everyone is asking me "what's for dinner?" Ahhhh. Can you relate?
I created Meal Thyme with the busy mom and parent in mind. We put a ton of love & care into each meal that we make so that you can feel good about putting our "mom-made" meals on the table for your family.
Skip the fast food lane and FILL-YOUR-FREEZER with some Meal Thyme dinners (your new dinnertime BFF). We look forward to serving you!
I know. It doesn't exactly scream food business logo, does it? Okay, let me tell you a little "behind the scenes" story and why I chose to incorporate a dragonfly in my logo.
In 2015, my beloved baby sister, Leslie, lost her battle to cancer at the age of 34 (that's a pic of us together on the right). She was beautiful, sweet, smart, caring, kind, and funny. Seriously, she was the most amazing person I've ever known. I never imagined in my wildest dreams not growing old with her.
After her passing, one of her patients (Leslie was a doctor) gave me a framed poem about dragonflies. It said:
Having flown the earth for 300 million years, dragonflies symbolize our ability to overcome times of hardship. They can remind us to take time to reconnect with our own strength, courage, and happiness.
Since that time, dragonflies have come to hold a special place in my heart. They remind me of Leslie and the importance of appreciating each day and living life to its fullest. I get so much strength and encouragement in seeing the dragonfly in my logo each day because I know that Leslie is cheering me on (very loudly) from above. I love and miss you sis!
